iRIS : Go Live Announcement

August 15: Deadline to submit all active InfoEd applications and forms by midnight to ensure a timely review, and smooth transition of all current records from InfoEd to iRIS.

September 1: The InfoEd platform for IRB protocols will be deactivated at midnight. Protocol data for existing studies in InfoEd has been migrated to iRIS for you.

As of October 1, 2024, iRIS will “go live” as the new and improved protocol management system for all SDSU IRB protocols.

Weekly virtual training sessions will be offered at the end of July through September by Research Support Services analysts to familiarize you with the new system. You can also check out our page for more iRIS FAQs, help, and user guides.

Training Sessions

The SDSU HRPP Office is offering weekly introductory sessions to showcase the new protocol management system for PIs, faculty, staff, lab members, and students.

Join us for a series of informative webinars designed to help you transition into our new application processing platform.

These webinars will include information on how to submit new studies and forms, any new features including the study progress section, and allow the opportunity for question and answers. The sessions will allow for 60 minutes of how the new system works, plus 30 minutes to engage directly with the HRPP analysts and iRIS experts.
