The Research Advancement Division, along with the SDSU Research Foundation, is responsible
for supporting and furthering the research, education and community service mission
of SDSU. The division assists faculty and deans in devising strategies to advance
and expand SDSU’s research endeavors. Our staff develops cooperative multidisciplinary,
multi-institutional partnership programs; provides program management for a diverse
portfolio of sponsored programs; and offers training, proposal review services and
mentorship to our research-active faculty and students.
