Preparation Resources
During and after registration, you can work on preparing your presentation. There are several resources available to help prepare your presentation beyond your SDSU Faculty Adviser/Mentor. Please also consult the 2026 Presenter Resource Guide.
Mock Presentation Events
In the weeks leading up to Presentation Day in the spring semester, the S3 Support Team will host multiple opportunities for you to practice your presentation and get feedback, but you should also be working with your mentor to practice your presentation.
Tuesday Feb. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Metzli and Templo Mayor Rooms in Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union
This presentation practice event is sponsored and hosted by the Center for Graduate Life and Diversity, the Center for Student Organizations & Activities, and the Division of Research and Innovation. Separate sessions will be organized for undergraduate and graduate students. These sessions are designed as practice opportunities to help students prepare for their presentations at S³. We are seeking faculty volunteers who can commit approximately one hour to provide feedback for about four students.
A total of 14 students will present, with each allotted 8 minutes for their presentation, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A and 2 minutes for general feedback.
