NIH F31 Support
About NIH F31 Support
The F31 training workshop provides an introduction to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) F31 program, writing tips to craft a winning statement, and other graduate fellowship opportunities. The workshop is most relevant for second and third year doctoral students.
Participants leave with a clear understanding of strategies for preparing competitive proposals for graduate awards. Participants in the program are eligible for additional compensation based on subsequent submissions for graduate fellowships.
The F31 Fellowship program helps ensure that a diverse pool of highly trained scientists is available in adequate numbers and in appropriate research areas to carry out the nation's biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research agenda.
This workshop is offered once a year, but has not been scheduled for academic year 2026-2027 yet. Please check back soon.
