Research Advancement, along with the SDSU Research Foundation, is responsible for supporting and furthering the research, education, and community service mission of SDSU. Research Advancement assists faculty and deans in devising strategies to advance and expand SDSU’s research endeavors. Our staff develops cooperative multidisciplinary, multi-institutional partnership programs; provides program management for a diverse portfolio of sponsored programs; and offers training, proposal review services, and mentorship to our research-active faculty and students.
