National Institutes of Health K Award Workshop
The National Institutes of Health K awards provide a mentored research training experience for senior postdoctoral fellows or junior faculty-level candidates.
These awards are designed to promote career development and move recipients to the point where they are able to conduct independent research and compete for major grant support. SDSU faculty members who have been recipients of this prestigious award will be discussing their K award experiences and offering tips at this workshop. Assistant professors who are interested in applying for an award in the NIH K series will find this workshop very informative.
