NSF CAREER Writing Group Workshop
The NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program is an NSF-wide activity that offers the National Science Foundation's most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. Activities pursued by early-career faculty build a firm foundation for a lifetime of leadership in integrating education and research.
The next deadline for the Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) is 5:00 p.m. submitter’s local time on Monday, July 25, 2022.
Research Advancement leads an NSF CAREER Writing group. This year's meetings will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on May 20, May 27, June 3, June 10.
You can register to participate at: https://forms.gle/gXzUkZRa9XQBHBJR8
Please note that a commitment to participate in all sessions is required to be enrolled.
This writing group will review the structure and tone of successful NSF CAREER proposals, help you develop effective strategies for difficult sections like the Education Plan, Broader Impacts, and Departmental Letter of Recommendation, and give you an opportunity to get real-time peer feedback on your application.
Participants receive support to secure and compensate an outside reviewer prior to submission.
Please contact John Crockett, [email protected], with any questions.
