SDSU Book Celebration
Every other year, the Division of Research and Innovation hosts the SDSU Book Celebration to honor and elevate the scholarly and creative achievements of SDSU-affiliated scholars (faculty, staff, lecturers, postdoctoral fellows, administrators). This event provides a space for recognition, networking, and celebration to strengthen the university’s culture of research, innovation, and academic excellence.
Call for Submissions
Any SDSU-affiliated authors who published a book between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2026 should fill out our call for submissions form to be included in the celebration.
Please provide your book details via the submissions form by midnight on Feb. 1, 2026.
Event Details
The 2026 celebration will take place in April 2026. Official event invites will be sent early in the spring semester.

SDSU Authors Library Collection
The University Library maintains a collection of books published by SDSU authors. Authors who submit their books for the biennial celebration can request that their books be purchased by the University Library and added to the collection.
