Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities Mentor Awards

To recognize excellence in student mentoring, the Division of Research and Innovation will present student-nominated lecturers, tenure-track or tenured faculty with four $500 awards at the annual SDSU Student Symposium. Two awards will be given for mentoring undergraduates and two awards will be given for mentoring graduate students.

Eligibility

The award recipient must be a San Diego State University tenure-track or tenured faculty member, or lecturer, who has demonstrated above and beyond average mentoring expectations and actively supports efforts to encourage student research, scholarship, and creative activities at SDSU.
